How should Asians choose eyelashes according to their eye type?
Single eyelid / monolid: Choose short to medium length (8-10mm), naturally curled styles. Avoid lashes that are too long, which can weigh down the eyes, and slightly lengthen the outer corners to enlarge the eye shape. Double eyelid / large eyes: Opt for medium to long length (10-12mm). Dense styles enhance depth, while natural styles are suitable for everyday wear. Droopy eyes: Choose styles that are longer at the outer corners and curled upwards to lift the eye shape. Round eyes: Avoid overly round and blunt styles. Choose a fan-shaped style with slightly longer outer corners to elongate the eyes and make them more lively.
EYELASH SHARING
In general, for daily makeup on single eyelids, it is recommended to choose baby curl or wide-angle cat-style false eyelashes. Baby curl eyelashes have slightly messy tips, highlighting the upper eyelid, while wide-angle cat-style eyelashes are noticeably longer at the outer corners of the eyes, which helps to visually enlarge the eyes.
When applying more dramatic makeup for going out, users with single eyelids are advised to choose fox-style angled false eyelashes, as this type of product can visually lengthen the eyes and create an almond-eye effect.
Compared to single eyelids, double eyelids are easier to work with when choosing false eyelashes; most lashes fit double eyelids well. For subtle, everyday makeup, styles like "easy trilogy," "easy sunflower," or "easy fan trilogy" can be used. For a more eye-catching look when going out, styles such as "wild imp" or "pure mischievous cat" can be used.
Puffy eyes require more precise false eyelashes. Currently, most eyelashes on the market do not manage to visually enlarge puffy eyes. Based on past experience, for this type of eyes, I recommend trying L-shaped false eyelashes, as the elongated right-angle base extends outward, so that when applied, the false lashes are clearly noticeable and achieve a visually enlarging effect.
